Eastnor Castle Triathlon Important Information

After a visit to the castle this morning - we were asked to change where our race HQ and Transition 2 weresituated.  The field we usually base ourseleves in has just been re seeded.

We are now in the field opposite the main castle entrance.  Camping etc will be in this field. 

Car Parking on Race day will be on the otherside of road, in the same field as T1, please follow the car park signs if you are turning up on Sunday morning. PLease do not park in the Dear Park.

The Run course still takes in the same route but starts from the turn around point near to the bowling club.  This will be explained at the race brief at 9.30am.

If anyone has friends or family watching or camping with them, and they are willing to lend a hand on Sunday morning please let us know.

BUXTON 5KM CANCELLED

Please note that due to extremely low pre entries, we have unfortunately had to cancel the 5km run at Poole's Cavern on Wednesday 17th June

Fitzone Forest of Dean 5km Series

The newly named Fitzone Forest of Dean 5k series has had a slight over haul.  The route has been adjusted to take in the grounds to get it to a fair distance and an offer on the price to all those who enter both of the remaining two races.

The Big Mans Back to challenge the Woody Again

Black Sheep Sports are pleased to welcome the legend that is known as TC to the Big Woody for a third time.  However we are also very pleased to announce that for a third time we will have Spencer Smith racing in the Little Woody. 

Spencer has supported the event since its conception in 2007 and will be back to test himself in Gloucestershire on the August bank holiday.

Spencer will be providing a regular article to help you prepare for this years event.

Open Water Training

   

 

Black Sheep Sports are pleased to announce and open water training session at Caldecotte Lake in Milton Keynes.  This will take place on 20th June at 11am and full details can be found here

Places are limited and are on a First Come First Served basis.  We already have alot of interest in this session and if it goes well, more dates will be added.

There will be a coach on hand for tips and advice and to ensure the safety of the swimmers.  A motor boat will be on the water, just in case!

Lydney Triathlon

Well done to everyone who completed Lydney triathlon on Sunday.

Our first triathlon of the season was greeted with warm sunny weather and some very fast times.

Not even an early morning car accident stopped the racing.  Full results with the catagories will be available shortly.
